About the Gynecomastia Procedure

The most common surgical method to correct Gynecomastia is by using the tumescent liposuction technique.  By using this technique, Dr. Yee can reduce breast size with very little visible scarring.  Another technique is to make a small incision and cut away the excess fat.  Dr. Yee will decide during your consultation what method would be most beneficial to you. The procedure can be completed in less than three hours while the patient is under general anesthesia. Patients can return home the same day with only minimal discomfort. Some patients resume work in one or two days and are back to full activity within a week or two.
