Next, pockets are created so the implants can be placed. Patients can choose between saline and silicone implants. Finally, the incisions are closed with sutures.
To achieve the desired result, Dr. Yee may use different sized implants. In some cases, she may even place an implant on one side and perform a lift or reduction on the other.

Though every patient is different, most individuals reach full recovery in about six weeks. As with any surgery, individuals can expect some degree of discomfort and swelling.
