Our Little Rock Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Suzanne Yee, is the first in Central Arkansas, and one of the first in the nation to offer QWO® For Moderate To Severe Cellulite on the buttocks of women.

QWO® is a revolutionary injectable that is the only FDA-approved injectable for cellulite.  To really understand the science "behind" QWO® as a treatment for cellulite, we need to get to the "bottom" of cellulite.

What is cellulite?

Cellulite is a dimple created by fibrous bands below the skin that pull downwards, creating an "orange peel" appearance on the outer layers of skin.  The cellulite bands, in turn, push fat cells towards the skin.  The combination of cellulite bands and fat cells working against eachother can thin the skin over time.

Three Contributors to Cellulite

Celluite is belived to be a biological characteristic, and for this reason, it cannot be corrected with diet or exercise.  Previous cellulite treatments have been topical creams, that yeild little to no results, and more invasive procedures.  The more invasive treatments can a lengthey recovery time, with fluid leakage a few days after and garment requirements.  QWO® is a gamechanger when it comes to cellulite treatments.

How QWO® Works

QWO® is injected into the dimples of the buttocks in 3 sessions, 21 days apart.  QWO® dissolves the bands that pull the skin down, and redistributes the fat as well.  When the band is dissolved, and the fat is redistributed, the skin has an overall smoother appearance.  Patients see full results after the third session.  We're excited to be the first office in Central Arkansas to offer this non-invasive treatment for celluite, so give us a call!
