Dermaplane & Micropeel

Many people are subject to problematic or dry skin that can no longer be treated by home skincare and home exfoliation treatments.  At Dr. Suzanne Yee’s Cosmetic and Laser Surgery Center, we offer a new, physical exfoliation treatment to rid the skin of dry, damaged cells and promote a healthy appearance.  

Dermaplaning is an advanced technique which rids the skin of dry, dead cells and problematic surface debris.  This treatment can also be conducted with a Micropeel and Cryogenic Therapy for maximum results.  Dermaplaning is a highly effective and safe treatment, and has no downtime.  

Dr. Suzanne Yee’s medical skincare staff is highly trained in the Dermaplane exfoliation treatment, and they are meticulous in the process.  During your consultation, your skin will be assessed through a detailed questionnaire and then a customized technique will be developed to suit your personal skincare needs.  Dermaplane is performed using a revised surgical blade to gently feather across the skin, and lifts the top layer of skin.  By using this modified blade and applying correct pressure, ultimate exfoliation is achieved.  Dermaplaning may be a single treatment, or in conjunction with a Micropeel.

After the Dermaplaning procedure, you will see immediate results in the removal of dry and dead skin.  Dermaplaning also diminishes fine lines, makes skin more susceptible to pharmaceuticals and advanced skincare products, removes unwanted hair, and creates a glowing appearance.
